Usually I wear my school uniform, but today I ... jeans and T-shirt because
we are going to have a class picnic.

(a) have worn
(b) am wearing

I tend to the answer (a). Notwithstanding, can both of the versions be correct in this sentence?
(Which one is more natural?)

MANY THANKS...

A would be strange.
B is natural/sensible.
