Dear Alan
'Eggs are graded from small to extra large.'
In general, prepositions are to be followed by noun / pronoun as the prepositional object. However, in the above sentence, adjectives follow prepositions, i.e., 'small' after 'from' and 'extra large' after 'to'. Does it mean that adjectives can also be used as prepositional objects?
