Usage of singular and plural form

Post by jurejure »

Hi there.

Basically, one wikia site's moderators insist on using the plural of "season" in instances like:

"The character appeared in the first, fourth and fifth seasons."

Now, if my teachings are right, it should be "season" instead of the plural form, as it, trivially, refers to just one season (by that I mean the only season that has been released in that period).

I'd just like your comformation on this.

Thank you :)

Both are possible, so I suggest you follow the standard practice of that website.
