I have searched the dictionaries but still could not find the answer.
Does "spare your time and effort" has opposite meanings?
1. In order to spare your time and effort, we have managed to get all information about the prices for our EP XXXXX and the ways of payment for each of our label and distributor:
2. Spare your time and effort and hire the professionals. They know what they are doing. They are more efficient than you.
3. But ordinarily Quick scan is enough to define all possible threats and this function spares your time and effort.
4. I will do it myself so as to spare your time.
5. Don't spare your time and effort to impress a random girl.
I guess 1, 2, 3 and 4 mean "save" and 5 means "waste". Am I correct?

Not really a grammar issue, but...
