The way to think vs the way she thinks

Hi all,

I'd like to check if the following statements share the same meaning. We are specifically referring to the a lady's thinking pattern is weird.

1) The way to think is weird.
2) The way she thinks is weird.

Could anybody enlighten what's the difference between these two sentences? Apparently my friend said that both sentences are correct. However I personally feel that "the way to think" is more like advising people the correct method of thinking, for eg. the way to excel in life.
