usage of embrace

Post by davidtrinh »

According to the online dictionary Cambridge Dictionary, to embrace means to accept something enthusiastically. I am going to use it in a sentence.

(ex) Mr. Brown, who was interested in my accounting skill, wanted to hire me. I happily embraced his job offer.

Am I using the verb, the embrace, correctly? Thanks.
