Topics or Subjects ?

Post by Thelearner »

Hello, i would like to know whether the following sentence looks alright or need better words.
It's for my profile actually.
A guy who loves to study and research on various topics.
Should i use the word "topics" or should replace it with the word "subjects" ?
The only thing that's troubling me, is that if i choose the word "subjects" then people might get the idea that i'm just some psychopath who loves to study and research on human subjects. lol.
I know i'm thinking way too much but you never know how other people could misinterpret your words or twist your statements and turn them into a completely different thing.

A little help here would be nice.

'Topics' is fine, but 'on' is redundant (the verb 'research' is transitive).
