Yesterday, my non-native English speaking friends and I talked about the correct order of words in the two sentences I made up myself.
(1) I want to talk to you about my travel plan later today.
(2) I want to talk to you later today about my travel plan.
Some of us said that (1) was correct. Some said that (2) was right. Others said that it would depend on what you wanted to emphasize. If you emphasized "your travel plan", you would say it first. If you emphasized "later today", you would say that first.
Who is correct? Please help me. Thanks.

Both are perfectly acceptable, with no significant difference.
