I learned a new word when I read an English magazine.
According to the online dictionary macmillandictionary, resounding is used for emphasizing how successful or unsuccessful someone or something is.
According to another online dictionary learnersdictionary, resounding means leaving no doubt : very definite
I would like to learn how to use it as an adverb by making up two sentences with it.
(1) Doctor ABC has invented an amazing robot which helps police identify criminals accurately. His invention resoundingly makes news.
(2) The police are looking for the man who killed three people in last night's attack. The local reporters are presenting the news resoundingly.
A few days ago, I let my non-native English speaking friends check my sentences. They said that they were not sure if I correctly used the adverb.
Am I using the adverb correctly? Please help me. Thank you so much for your help.
