Dear Allan,
I saw a sentence and feel like something is wrong with the grammar, could you help me to look at it? Thank you!
The original:
She pretended not to see me when I passed by.

My correction:
Version 1, She was pretending not to have seen me when I passed by.
Version 2, She was pretending not having seen me when I passed by.
Version 3, She was pretending not to see me when I passed by.

Which of the four version is correct? If they are all correct, what meanings are each sentences trying to tell its readers? Like mine is trying to say she saw me before I was going to pass her, but then she decided to ignore me when I actually passing by.
A confused English teacher from Hong Kong :)
Thank you!

But there is nothing wrong with the original...
