Have you ever been windsurfing?

Post by Teruko » Thu Aug 02, 2018 12:40 am

Hello,

I would like to ask for some help. I can't understand why ーHave you ever been windsurfing?
ーHave you ever been skating?
ーHave you ever been caving?
But
ーHave you ever ridden a horse?

Could I ask Have you ever skated?

Thank you in advance.

Of course.

The 'been ~ing' form simply happens to be more idiomatic.
