let's + ing

Post by nkaretnikov »

Hello!
I have recently sent an email with this phrase
"Damien, I'm agree 100%. Let's not going through that hell once again" meaning let's not go through that approval process as it was very painful for everybody. I used -ing to emphasize the duration.
Would you please tell if that is absolutely wrong, not understandable, better to avoid, okay or absolutely right?

Absolutely wrong!

(However, casually, you might say " Let's not BE going through....")
