I'd like to ask about whether this sentence makes sense.

The correct answer is " She also enjoys chatting with her friends..."

But one of my students wrote "She does also enjoy chatting with her friends..."

I'm not sure about the correct usage of the word "also" there. Is the second sentence correct?

Both your sentence and your student's are possible, Your student's sentence is simply a more emphatic version.
