This is regarding Transitive and intransitive verbs... The following sentence has two verbs...
"She is going to send flowers to her mother"
There are two verbs, going and send.
In this case the word 'going 'is intransitive as it doesn't have an object and word 'send' is transitive ... Is my understanding correct. Please correct me if i am wrong

We normally apply terms 'transitive/intransitive' only to full verbs (i.e. the semantic 'main verb'), e.g. 'goes' in

She goes to market.

In your sentence, however, 'go' functions as an auxiliary and so would not normally be so classified.

'Send' is, of course, transitive.
