Is this sentence correct?

Learning should be made fun for children to respond well to games, songs, role-plays and interactive activities.

My gut feeling tells me "to" should be changed to "in order for them to", but I want to know if the above sentence is correct.

Hard to say since the second part of the sentence is the fun part of learning.

Otherwise:
Learning should be made fun for children to respond it.
Learning should be made fun for children in order for them to respond it.
