Correct order for thesis title

Post by aschieren » Fri Aug 16, 2019 10:28 am

I'm (as a non-native speaker) struggling with the correct structure of the title of my thesis. Mainly due to the fact the title contains both among and in.

I now have: "Molecular Diagnostics among Patients with Gastroenteritis in General Practice".
I'm inclined to think is is more correct to say: "Molecular Diagnostics among Patients in General Practice with Gastroenteritis"

Could anyone point me in the right directions?

Thank you!

Kind regards,
Alwin Schierenberg

Frankly, both your proposals are possible and good.

Let me propose a third:
#3. Molecular Diagnostics among General Practice Patients with Gastroenteritis :ok:

It's hard to choose, but I would recommend #3.

Or even:
Molecular Diagnostics among GP Patients with Gastroenteritis :ok:
