Her name was Maria, she was deaf.
Her name was Maria, who was deaf.

Which one is correct, please?

Not strictly correct grammatically, but often seen in informal writing or dialogue. Correctly, it should be:

Her name was Maria; she was deaf. :ok:
Her name was Maria. She was deaf. :ok:

Although strictly grammatically "correct", this is not really idiomatic and sounds strange. More normally it would be (something like):

Her name was Maria and she was deaf. :ok:
