Hi

1. This is an action from last discussion
2. This was an action from last discussion

I think it should be "was" since the discussion happened last week. But does it mean this action is no longer valid if use "was"

The sentence is semantically strange (discussions are not generally considered to consist of 'actions', but rather of statements, etc.), but the correct grammatical form would be: This was an action from THE last discussion.
