Hello Alan.
I've always had a question about simple past tense.
for example: I married him two years ago.
does it have an implication that I am still married or I'm not married now?
I just want to know is there any implication of present situation when we use simple past tense.
or it just simply describes things happened in the past, and it has nothing to do with the present.
hope I've made myself clear. looking forward to your reply.
thanks in advance.

Re: Question about simple past tense
No, there is no implication that you are still married.
