Past tenses refering to planned actions in the future which were cancelled

Recently while surfing the Internert I've come across a very interesting grammar structure and I would like to ask whether it is correct. :-D The sentence was: "I had a meeting tomorrow" or something similar (it was a past tense refering to a cancelled future action).

Not correct.

tomorrow --> the next/following day
