paragraph

Is this paragraph correct:

"He arranged a nice doghouse for Laika, with windows through which the light entered, and in its interior, with soft and glossy pillows, over which Laika could take her naps. "

Notes: By 'in its interior', I mean 'inside the doghouse', and by 'glossy pillows', I mean of a material that shone (at least to some extent). By the way, in this context, does 'lustrous' sound better?
