[I did it] or [I had done it]

I have made up the sentences below.

(1) Last month, I went skydiving. That was the last time I did it.

(2) Last month, I went skydiving. That was the last time I had done it.

I'm not sure which tense of "do" is correct? Thank you.

Did.

(N.B. If, however, you said 'the first time', 'had done' would be correct in BrE.)
