Is "has died" correctly used in the sentence?

Korean actress Oh In-hye has died after being found unconscious on Monday (Sep 14) in her home, according to multiple reports. She was 36

Is "has died" correctly used in the above sentence?

Informally acceptable, but, strictly speaking, either 'died after...' or 'has died since...'.

Informally acceptable, but, strictly speaking, either 'died after...' or 'has died since...'.
