For in the present simple

Post by Rustamsher »

Hello dear Alan,

She cooks spaghetti for two hours.

1) Is the sentence above grammatically correct?

2) Can "for" mean during/within/in in this sentence?

Thanks

1. Yes
2. If you mean "could any of these words be grammatically substituted here for 'for'?", the answer is no.
