correct usage

Post by tamguatlay »

One in three people suffer from poor sleep, with the relentless pace of technology often blamed. While the odd disturbed night may seem harmless, poor sleeping patterns can pose grave health risks overtime.

1. Should it be "suffers" instead?
2. Should it be "over time" instead?

Thanks.
