Hello,
I do not know if I can say "boat batteries" or if I have to say "the batteries of the boat" or even "boat's batteries" ?
For me "boat batteries" is better because a boat is not animate.

'Boat batteries' (as a general term) and "the boat's batteries" (as a specific term) are both possible.
Certain inanimate items, including boats and ships, allow a possessive construction.
