for working

Post by azz »

a. I am tired from working in the garden.
b. I am tired for working in the garden.

Which is correct?
If they are both correct, do they mean the same?

I am pretty sure (a) works and means I am tired because of working in the garden.

(b) should mean the same, but it sounds old-fashioned to me.

(c) would mean I am so tired that I can't work in the garden.

c. I am too tired for working in the garden.

Is that correct?

Many thanks
