Hi everyone.
I've been using regularly the -ing form without the preposition "by" in situations in which I'm disclosing the manner.
Is it right to say "become successful boosting your self-assurance with a positive mental attitude" or it'd be better to say "become successful by boosting your self-assurance with.."?
Thank you so much.
The use of by before the -ing form

Yes, you need 'by'.
