Let's say I am looking for a certain John Harrison. I know he is in a room that is full of people. I don't know what John Harrison looks like. I enter the room and I tell someone:
a. I want to know who is John Brown.
(i.e. among the people in this room who is John Brown)
b. I want to know who John Brown is.
Which of the sentences (a) or (b) is correct in this context?
Many thanks.
who is...

Re: who is...
(Not really grammar but...) a (although much more naturally: '...which of you is John Brown').
