death of a pupil

Today I have read a message about a death of another young student of mine. I am writing "my student" though I had only one lesson with him. He suffered from leukemia - kind of blood cancer.
He was once better and then worse again.
He was 19 years old.
This time noone was blame. He was very ill but everyone hoped he would recover.
He didn't:(

It's twice harder because the desease can be cured nowadays... but it's really expensive. when young children and teens die that's horrable

Thanks a lot for all your nice words of comfort that you have given in this thread.
Today has been a burial of this guy.
I couldn't go cause I have had lessons.

Maybe scientists should focus more on sources of this tragic disease. Many young people and kids have been dying from leukemia.
