Postby maichimai » Sat Dec 03, 2005 3:56 am

HI,my friends.
On my birthday,i was presented one book from my father.the title of book is "A Christmas Carol",the author is Charles Dickens. This book is very interesting. It tell about Scrooge who is rich but mean.He lives alone and hates Christmas. One night before the Christmas eve, three ghosts visited him. They let him see the past, now, and the future of him. This made him change everlastingly.

Yeah, this story didn't turn out boring like his other ones. I actually liked it.

Yes, that's a classic and probably one of Dickens' most popular stories.

That's really great. I read the story this Christmas. I like the final scene. The Death gave Scrooge a chance to correct his mistakes. Anyway, the ghosts in ''A Christmas Carol" are so nice and lovely.
