How much should we pay for books?

One of the craziest things on earth is that books are becoming more expensive everyday when there are so many poor people around the world. It is crazy because poor people who love books cannot afford them, rich people who can afford would rather spend money on luxuries but books and book sellers would be disappointed for neither the poor nor the rich is buying books. Then, who is going to benefit from this weird situation?
Anyhow, knowledge is priceless. May someday we don't have to worry about how much to pay for books.

i agree. i like books but sometimes i go to the bookshop only to see, not to buy. old books r cheaper, but i don't like old book.
in vietnam, there is a website selling books. there have a lot of book in many kinds with introdution about the books. after i choose the book i need, they'll bring the book to my house n decrease 10% price.
it's very comfortable because i haven't much time to go to the bookshops.

Try out Amazon.com for great used books -like new!

I think you will be able to get great prices too, in other countries, same as here in America...not sure, but try. I buy used books that are in like new condition all the time from sellers in Amazon...the book may sell for twenty five dollars new and yet sell a like brand new one for even as low as less than one dollar.
The discription of the book will say if it is like new or worse condition...
I like to buy the ones that are "like new" but I still save $$$ saving (so far) hundreds of dollars compared to someone who pays full price.

Which is easy to do with just lets say eight to ten books...if you go to (english/american amazon) Amazon.com and if you put T.K. Faleofa in the search box you can see my wish lists which I make for people to see what kinds of books are very interesting to me and my friends.
I hope I have helped you I thoght everyone knew about these deals but I forget that I did not know until about a year ago. Bye 4 now!
