Dixie even dosen't know about the difference between Mandarin and Cantonese; worse, she even dosen't know that Both of mandarin and cantonese are Chinese :lol:

As a philologist, I do know that Cantonese and Mandarin are Chinese dialects :evil: I am no ignorant, RedRose!!!

Well, I know about Cantonese because when I was in my 4th year at college I took a compulsory subject on varieties of the English language, that is, the different dialects. I remember reading a story about a Chinese girl who used to speak three different dialects in her daily life, and Cantonese was one of them :D

And of course I know about Mandarin! That's the most widely spoken language in the world! Image
