EC's version of Scattergories

Postby MissLT » Tue Feb 12, 2008 5:30 am

I played this game with my cousins and friends last week, and it turned out pretty fun. Therefore, I'd like to reformat the game into an online version and for EC only. And this is my version,

Each poster can post one question and name a letter per post. In other words, one person gives out a question such as name a European city; letter P. The next person continues the game by giving a name of a city in Europe that starts with a P. The categories can be anything and the letters can be repeated. However, there's one rule:

Whoever has his/her answer that is vetoed by other members, that person must skip three posts, counting after the catcher's, before he/she can post again in this thread. If that person tries to break this rule, all his/her posts in this thread will be deleted.

Please don't be intimidated by the rule (this is definitely not my intention). Let's have some fun and practice our brains to think in English.

Lennye, believe it or not I've been thinking about this for the last 3 or 4 days! I can't think of anything in a tropical country starting with S  (except for Seasons, as in dry/wet season

You can also say sand, Sahara desert, sea, shells, etc.

You don't have to get all technical. The point of the game is how fast you can come up with words associated to the required letter in the fastest time possible.

City in Europe. Letter M

Believe me, sometimes the category sounds easy, but there are not many things to put. Like during our game, there was one category classified as outer space; letter B. We couldn't come up with anything else beside black hole. My neighbor wrote black guy and he got vetoed by all of us. He was so pissed since he believed there was a black guy in outer space at that precise moment. He just wished there was a way he could prove himself right. It was a hilarious debate.

Star!

(I didn't know if you meant a mythological object but anyway I looked it up and I found the definition: "heavenly body - natural objects visible in the sky")

A board game, letter M (quite easy)
