Last week I downloaded the Titanic OST because some students requested we sing "My Heart Will Go On" in class. I knew I had it somewhere but I couldn't find it so I downloaded the whole ost, burned a cd and took it to class.

I don't usually download music from the net. I'm more into movies

I like many kinds of movies as long as they aren't violent. I hate violence, even fake violence

Two days ago I downloaded Travis' album The Man Who. I haven't listened to it yet. I don't know much about this group, but we sang one of their songs the other day in class ("Why does it always rain on me") and I liked it so I decided to download the album.

You know, I download just to have it. But, I never download MTV music and other similar pop singers' albums.

Open sale, what it is? Do they distribute it free of charge?

I was dubious if I should say "in shop" or "at shop" - so I tried to evade this situation saying "open sale". I prefer to buy CDs in hypermalls of electronics and other hypermarkets like "auchan".

What a shame  Learning a language is not just the language, it's also the culture... Songs are a great source of both everyday language (which is not usually found on grammar books) as well as culture.
