I agree with Chemist, every country has its own special dishes and I wouldn't like to eat Italian food every day of my life.
I also like Chinese, Spanish, Mexican, Argentine food.
I've never tried Egyptian food, but thanks to Blossom now I've got many recipes and can try it. :)

recipe number 2
palestinian recipe
Mutabbal (EGGPLANT salad)
2 Large eggplants
2 garlic cloves
2 table spoons of "Tehina"
4 table spoons of lemon juice
1/2 green chili pepper
salt and olive oil to taste
Remove the head of the eggplants, and make two horizontal incisions with the knife on each side of the eggplant. Place the eggplants under the grill for 30 minutes, until the skin is almost burnt. In the meantime, mix the two tablespoons of Tehina with the lemon juice until it becomes a smooth light beige uniform paste. Remove the eggplants, and place them on a plate. Bring a deep dish and open up the eggplants. Start removing the inside of the eggplants and placing it in the deep dish. Make sure you don't take any of the skin. The insides of the eggplant will be slightly watery, so mix it with a fork which would at the same time cut it into smaller pieces, almost a paste though not uniform in any way. Add the Tehina paste and mix well with the fork. Crush the garlic cloves with the chili pepper and add to the mixture. Mix well. Add salt and olive oil to taste.

Ahmad your the greatest funnyman in here!
I suppose you would appreciate one of my favorite funny movies.."The Jerk" ( a hollywood production ) with Steve Martin.

I must say something about food me, too!

I LOVE
ITALIAN ~ especially pasta with garlic, mushrooms, & veges
THAI ~ from Ocha Classic resturant: Chicken-coconut-soup
PERSIAN ~ The yogurt drink and the kabob's
JAPANISE ~ the mixed plate specials & sushi rolls with shashimi
CHINESE ~ Orange Chicken and curry dishes.
VIETNAMESE ~ PHO 999 resturants:their yummy noodle soups!
INDIAN ~ I cant order but I can really clean the plate!

There are more but I will stop  gotta go eat now.

Oh SHAZZAM...I am not sure about the foods of Egypt? I cant be sure what they are. If there are such resturants here I must find them now.
