My breakfast is a buttered toast and a cup of coffee.
But most Japanese eat rice and miso soup. :)

Tea,olives, cheese ,tomatoes, cucumber and egg are generally the basic participants of the breakfast in my country. In fact it changes from region to region. Some of them can even eat chicken at breakfast!!
However in brief words, our breakfast is light.I like it!!

i cannot believe that local people eat rice and something like that for breakfast when i just been to singapore.because it is too greasiness and in most time i don't feel hungry in the morning.so i usually go to supermarket or seven-eleven to buy something that steamed and soy milk or milk around 8am.

Hi!
I am from Indonesia.
I usually have rice and fry egg for breakfast. Sometimes i drink a glass of "Milo" from nestle. My mom say that is not good for someone to eat too much in breakfast. But in other way, we must have breakfast. It's also good for someone in diet program. Breakfast could resist feeling of hunger, maybe 1 or 2 hour before lunch time.

In Italy we are not used to eat sausages, eggs, porridge, etc. for breakfast, even if I think it's a right way of starting one's day (one gets energy and has a lot of time ahead for digestion).
I usually have just a cappuccino and toast with honey/jam.

Hi,
My freind have been to China and Thiland many times, and he told me he usually took breakfast outside, there were many moving restaurants (sorry I don't know a precise word). Compared to those shop in Japan, it's so
reasonable, quickly served and tasty. I envy him
Back to myself, I usually eat fruits, yogult, rice and milk. I have no time to make a big brekfast but I try to milk products or fiver rich food.

Hi friends,

At México there are some basic elements in the breakfast: orange juice, milk, egss, bread, cofee, fruit.
Now, because of the stress to live in the principal city (México City),people usually do combination of this elements. Example:Mix mil with fruit and an egg in the licuator and drink (breakfast for students)
Drink a cofee, a donut or a sandwich while you go to the office,in the car, on the street., etc.
Brakfast for workers:Drink "Atole" (milk with chocolate or any other flavor) and a "Tamal" or eat "tacos" on the street.
After that "important" meal mexican people eat whatever they can, while the lunch hour came.

Elba brakfast:
06:00 am Orange juice and an all bran bar
10:00 am begettable, yougurt or milk, eggor cheese
12:00 fresh cucumber with lemmon
15:30 lunch: chicken or fish or cheese, vegetables
17:00 hot tea with lemmon
21:00 More hot tea with lemmon, milk a sandwich or cheese or only fruit like wattermelon, grapes, apricot, or something tht contain enough part of juice.

OMG I´m hungry all the time
2 l of watter.

I come from Viet Nam.
You know, there are many various kinds of food which people have for their breakfast. For example, I usually eat "Pho" (it's like noodle and cooked with soup which is stewed by bones of cows and seasoning) and a glass of milk for my breakfast, whereas the other prefer baguette or Vietnamese foods.

The best food for breakfast is the Gallo Pinto. A traditional plate of Costa Rica. It contains rice and beans, eggs, and in some cases...Natilla.

Additionally, Costa Rica produces the best coffee in the world. One of the principal exportation products on CR is the coffee to others countries like USA, Switzerland, Deutchland, etc.

Breakfast has not always been my favorite time to eat. For some reason from early childhood I didn't want to eat after I woke up. I wanted to wait for a hour or so. Then I had to decide what would it be? As a child I loved cold cereal with milk and banana and little sugar on top. I loved bread toasted with butter and grape jelly. To drink in the winter it was hot chocolate which is warmed milk mixed with cocoa and sugar until it's very warm then I added a couple marshmallows and let them melt..yum yum. On Sundays our family had a big breakfast because we were not rushed to go to work. We might have pork bacon with scrambled eggs and a cereal called grits. It's made of corn. It's boiled and ends up light and fluffy. It's good with butter stirred into it. Sometimes we had pancakes they are made with flour, eggs, baking powder and milk. We sometimes added chopped pecans (nuts). They are dropped by spoonful to make a pancake that is round about 3 inches across. You flip them over when they are golden brown. Then you top each one with butter and maple syrup that is sweet or molasses is used. What I ate as a child I eat now but I don't wait for an hour any longer. I eat pretty soon after I wake up. :D

I'm so happy that I joined this group, It's so much fun reading how much we are the same but at the same time have different ways of doing things. Right now I'm making chicken soup but not for breakfast it's for a our last meal at night. We eat our big dinner at 12 noon ...and for breakfast we eat it about 8am or earlier. It depends how late we sleep. Today since it was very cold and raining we had hot oatmeal with milk, sugar and cinnamon spice, toasted bread with butter, A small glass of orange juice and a cup of coffee. It's great reading what everyone out there eats around the world.
Everyone have a great weekend and don't forget to EAT YOUR BREAKFAST!

Hi... :D
In my country Costa Rica the people have a favorite breakfast (gallo pinto), this food is rice and beans mixed and drink coffee; this is the traditional but other people prefer eat fruits, milk, eggs. However most people only drink coffee for the time, we prefers arrive early in the job or university.

But in your Country wha eat the people usually in the breakfast? :P
