Hi,I"m Japanese person. Have you heard of sushi?
Sushi is traditional Japanese food.
Sushi is cooked vinegared rice which is commonly topped with fish.
Sushi can be cheap or expensive.
Revolving sushi bars serve cheap sushi.
Roughly 105 yen per plate.
For example, two hand-shaped sushi on one plate.
Does this seem cheap or expensive?
How much is sushi in your country?

For comparison take MacDonalds.
A MacDonald"s hamburger is also 105 yen!
So cheap sushi and a hamburger are the same price.
How much do foreign foods cost on average? :?:
Please tell me how much food in your country costs.
Thank you for your help.

mcdonald's burger costs 105 yen in japan?
in my country kuwait, the price is doubled approximately for each burger sandwich only.

in general i don't eat seafood, although i wish i could. it's just a problem in my appetite.
however, the restaurants that offer the japanese food are always very very expensive, especially the japanese menu because it's the healthiest and most splendid.
i'm not sure how much the sushi plate costs exactly, but it's not cheap at all.

thank you for sharing the interesting information about sushi, i'd like to read about dango and more jp dishes from you if possible :)

Thank you, Hyacinth.
I will write about dango.
There is various kinds of dumplings (dango).
There are a sweet taste and a salty taste in the seasoning of the dumpling, too.
My favorite dango is Hanami dango.
Hanami dango has three-colored round dango on a skewer.
Colors are pink,white, and green.
Do you know Hanami dango?

thanks umebosi
i thought dango is just one type.
in kuwait, we eat dumplings too, they are made of wheat, yeast, water and little salt.
after being dipped in oil, we pour little honey on it.

what are the other populer dishes in japan? (if you don't mind answering the question)
