Post by RedRose » Fri Oct 01, 2004 4:23 pm

As you know, lots of philippine friends are activating the forum! so these philippine friends should tell us about Philippine and her landscapes, customs, etc, in that case we will learn more about her. and someday we may visit Philippine(up to whether we have much money :lol: )

Come on!

The Philippines has so many beach resorts you can go to & have some fun & relaxation. Examples are in Boracay, Batangas, Palawan, Cebu, and many others.

..and that the filipino people have close family ties. we celebrate hundreds of feasts and filipinos enjoy eating as well. our food was influenced by the americans, chinese and spanish people.our beaches is considered to be one of the richest with regards to marine life. we're still able to maintain the existence of sea creatures. if you like some food i could treat you out by the time you visit our country :D :wink:

how about josie natori( a fashion designer and provider of perfume and make-up lines)? if you see the brochures of avon cosmetics, you might be familiar of her name.

are you also familiar of raffy tontengco, salma hayek and jasmine trias?

The Philippines? Well I think it's a nice place to stay. We have a lot of tourist spots.

We have a unique cultural heritage which is a combination of four - chinese, american, spanish and latin. But I think the spaniards influenced us the most especially our religion.

We have a democratic kind of government with the president as the head of state.

Wanna know some tagalog words and phrases? Well here are some of them...

==SALAMAT== "Thank You"

==MAGANDANG UMAGA== "Good Morning"

==KUMUSTA KA?== "How are you?

==WALANG ANUMAN== "You're welcome."

==PAALAM== "Bye"

That's all for now... Bye!!!
