Spend your Vacations in Macau

Post by Toni »

Macau is a fantastic place for spending your vacations.

Not only do you get ancient Portuguese colonial architecture and culture, you also get a wonderful blend of Chinese Culture.

Colourful neon signs and lasers light up the bustling casinos which makes tourism a bit hit here.

Come and check it out.

If you want to have a relaxing vacation in Macau, I'd recommand you to spend most of the time in Taipa. You can go to the HYATT hotel to enjoy the Chinese style food. And you can enjoy a chinese tea with nice "dimxun" there. The envirnment there is so good because there is not many people.
Have a try! :D

I think Macao can give you the unexpected pleasure:such as the delicious cantonese and portiguese food. There are many exhibitions, concerts, artistic festivals every year. The common activities in Macao is good. I've been to the lighthouse once. It's quiet and beautiful. So I recommend it. You can play many kinds of sports in Macao:judo, tennis, squash, golf, kendo and so on. I'm learning kendo in the sports complex now. Our university invite some good teachers to teach us.Macao people also enjoy reading. Our library is wonderful. People like to spend their time reading newspapers, magazines and books in the library.
There are lots of interesting museums and beautiful churches in Macao. If you have the chance, you should go and have a look.
I like Macao better than before. You can get new discovery here every day. It's fantastic, isn't it?

I want to know where are you from?Macao?China?I strange that you know clearly about Taipa but i don't think so. First, Taipa's are more expensive than Macau. If you want to eat tasted and cheaper food. You must go to Macau.Near the New Road, there are many restaurants and many kind of food that are delicious and cheap. You can buy some to your home.

If you want to have a three-day travel in Macau,it will be good to enjoy the different kinds of food. You can find some classical resturants in the Macau tower. And,Macau tower has a cinima. You can see so many great latest movies there. The price is reasonable.

I agree with this people, Toni...I am a student of University of Macau from Shanghai. Macau is no more than a fishing village as before.
Now, I suggest a three-day vecation plan for you.
When you arrive here, I recommed a five-star hotel: Hyatt Regency Macau. This hotel also has a very good restaurant. In here, you can have not only the Portuguese food, but also the Chinese food.
Then, you can take photos at the most famous landmark, the church of San Paulo(circa1600). Near by it, there is the New Road, you can buy some special kinds of cookies only in Macau. You can spend one day there. Now go back the hotel, have your fantastic dinner and have a godd dream.
The scond day. You can paly at another two islands:Taipa and Coloane. First, you should visit the museum in Taipa. Then, go to the Temple of Kun Iam, it's famous ,too.
There are many entertainment, such as mini car, shootong, swimming, golf(if you really have time).
At night, you can go to casino. The gaming is a important reason for the people to visit Macau.
Have a good time...

P.S. You can go to the University of Macau. I can give you some more suggestion. 8) [/b]

Thank you all the same.I am from China.I think Taipa is much quiet and clean than Macau.Although the price is a bit expensive in Taipa, you can have a different feeling if you eating here than in Macau. In my hometown there are so many restaurants just as the New Road's.

Although Macau is very small, there are many things we can do such as eating, gambling and shopping.
There are many different kinds of food in Macau -- Portuguese style, Chinese style, Indian style and so on.
If you come to Macau, I'd recommend you to try our snack. Cheese cakes and Fish balls are my favourite.
I agree your advice. I also think visit Macau like have a short trip about 2~3 days that you can go .
I also like to eat Macau's snack.Especially a bowl of fish ball,a bag of salt and fried chicken.Mmm,they are very delicious.

I live in Guangdong, China, near Macau. I like Hong Kong and have been there some times. But I don't like Macau. I think it is only a gambling city and no too many things to see. So for a long time I never go Macau.
