In China, any time when the sun is in the sky even lazy people like college students would have their cotton quilts used in winter aired in the sun, so do not be surprised to see here and there, in the lawn, on the statues, on sports equipment outdoors, on the engine covers of vehicles, such bed sheets are spread to absorb ultra violet ray.
But in California, the place in the world famed for sunshine, nobody does the same and I hear local people get their washing dried by machine only and that they pay for the drying. So isn't it a waste of energy? British people may have cried and fainted in their toilet knowing that because they have only rainy days and umbrellas become their second skin, haha!

It's not just a waste of energy. It's exceptionally selfish. But that's to be expected from exceptional people.SitangCampus wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 3:06 amBut in California, the place in the world famed for sunshine, nobody does the same and I hear local people get their washing dried by machine only and that they pay for the drying.
