Children's play

Postby morie » Fri Dec 03, 2010 2:09 am

My dream is to be a kindergarten teacher. :-)

I want to know now children in other country's play.
Japanese children today often play game?
For example video game ,DS(portable game machine) and so on.
I think that it has dad points though it is enjoyable.
They may have poor eyesight.
I don't think that playing games too much is good.
Therefore, when I become a kindergartens teacher,I want to teach about that.

When children in your country play, what do they do? :-D

Children are the future society, so if they are well educated, happy and motivated, there will be a good society.
In Italy, children play also videogames a lot, and I think it is not good, it make them like living in a "dream box".
They also play football and draw, and in special occasions, like christmas, they do some manual labour.
In my wiew a good activity, that kindergarden could do, is telling children stories, they are full of wisdom and ethical values.
Here's a link which it could be useful:
