Help again on english guys

Post by Aikuzo » Sun Oct 12, 2008 2:47 pm

The couple is arguing because the guy doesn't approve his couple's decision of getting a job.

Guy: I've never not supported you, w/out telling me feels like a betrayal.
Girl: See, this is why I even don't want to tell you okay.... I knew your gonna critique, your gonna analize, you gonna place your judgement, you know what? News flash. That's the way you making me feel.

I know what news flash is but can I ask the sense of it being used in this sentence?
Pls correct any errors you see on my writings on: nouns, tenses :)

"Practice makes perfect!" xD

It's being used figuratively, like a joke. It means: "Hey, I've got some big news for you."
