Typical Conversation Starters To Get You Speaking

Post by shrutisharma » Tue Sep 24, 2019 8:13 am

A major issue with a greater part of English speakers is that they already know and have much knowledge in English, however when they start conversing in English with someone, they turn blank.
The reason behind this shortfall is that they don’t know exactly how to start the conversation. This makes them turn blank and lose confidence.
For any such English speaker, here are a few conversation starters you can involve in your conversation and sound like a professional speaker.
• Excuse me,
• Forgive me for asking
• I hope you don’t mind me asking,
• I’m sorry to trouble you,
• Aren't you the son of …?
• Haven’t we met before?
• Could I borrow your pen?
• Is anyone sitting here?
• Is this seat taken?
