Stock up

Post by pdh0224 »

Dear teacher,

Gary Moustapha, the owner of Oriental Pastry & Grocery Company on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, who was born in Damascus, Syria, has stocked up on dates from California as well as from Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Algeria and the United Arab Emirates. He has made Turkish delights and Middle Eastern pastries in the back kitchen of his shop.

Q : What has he stocked up?

All the best,

On dates (the fruit). 'Stock up on' is a compound phrasal verb.
