is Love reaLLy woRth fightiNg for?

Postby hedwig14 » Sat Aug 13, 2005 4:50 am

tHey say when you faLL in love, you should be ready of the consequences..
i've never fallen in love on my entire 14 turning 15 years as a human being...
i don't know why i asked this question. it just popped-out of my head...
is really love worth fighting for?
how do you know it is?
love ,for somebody who had been hurt, is evil.. it makes you cry, worry, and all sort of things that can make you feel depress.
but love, for those who is happily inlove, means everything...
but if there's one point of your life where you need to let go of that love because it's what fate is saying, will you let go of it? or will fight for it?
i can't entirely fathom love... it's something beyond of my reach.. it's like right there in front of me but when you reach out your hands to touch it, it's like, hey miles away...
maybe someday, i shall know love... love with the opposite sex...
i know how to love... i love my family, God, and the people i consider important and essential to me..
but loving somebody whom you can spend the rest of your life with is a question yet to answer...

Life without love is not really complete. However, at 15 there's no hurry to find someone to love... especially because he/she will come without asking for your permission!
What about fighting for love? Well, I think it depends on the reason why one should be forced to fight: fighting to obtain love from someone not loving you doesn't make much sense, for example... Instead, fighting to protect your love from someone or something trying to destroy it, is simply natural!

Prepare yourself to be ready. Heu... can you be ready ? I'm 21 and in the "same situation" as you. Should I have to be in the hurry ?

Keep acting what you act in your life.

Think about freedom, free time that you enjoy now, the possibility to do many different things.

Think that you will enjoy anything else.

Don't think too much.

I still have all those things, and I am married... :!:

In other words: when the time comes, just choose wisely...

Two words that really shouldn't got together are LOVE and FIGHT!

If you have to fight for love then it must be one sided. In other words you might love but the other person doesn't. That is a no-win situation; if you have to fight to hold on to someone then it isn't love, it is more like obsession.
