Man will never travel accross solar system unless first invents anti- gravity device. Human body needs a certain amount of gravity for health, so long distance space travel remains an improbability.

Delocalisation for example.

somehow i wouldn't want to live on mars. it's just creepy. think of how would people from mars keep in touch with those who reminded on earth? they'd have to invent a special way of quick inter-planetary communication... LOL

I think if the human race really needed to abandon the Earth, the Moon would be the next alternative. Mars could be a prison for the criminally aggressive, devil worshippers, and anyone who watches Walt Disney films.

what do you have against Disney films??? They are great!, well not all of them but some.
Living in Mars???? I don't think so, it's not the kind of planet I'd like to live in. It's too "red" for me. I don't like this color

Well buddy boy if you don't like Mars because it is red you are in luck. Mars is not really red.

think about it... if you had a chance to abandon our Mother Earth and start a new life on Mars, would you take it or refuse? I'm too much old-fashioned to change my life so I suppose I'd stay where I am which means HERE :P hehe :)

I think so. Of course, we couldn't live there (so it would not be our "next home"

) but it seems to me that there are resources which could be imported to the Earth, like helium-3...
