FANS OF SHERLOCK HOLMES

Post by Laxuan »

Have you ever read any stories about sherlock holmes, I think it's the most interesting and thrilling detective story of all time. The story I like most is about the fight between holmes and a very rude and intelligent scientist, Mori. If you have any ideas about this story, you can introduce them here.

By the way, today is Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's birthday, according to Google 8)

I love Sherolck Holmes!!! I read his stories when I was slightly younger and I still love them :-) There was even this tv series about him and I bought a DVD with some episodes. I think Sherlock's mind is brilliant :) :) :)

Holmes is very intelligent but he lost in some cases , 3 times are men and 1 is woman. I can summarise the story : the king of Scandinavi asked Holmes to have found a photo of him and a woman which might affect his new wedding. Holmes approached the woman and knew where the photo was hiden, however, she understood what Holmes was doing so she escaped to a foreign country with the photo.
About Dr.Mori, do you think that he died? I have just finished a half of Sherlock Holmes novel so I think he was still alive after he fell down from the peak of a mountain.

Right Illusion! Sherlock was among those who made up my mind! The best friend of mine 7-10 years younger! My mom is addicted to Agatha Cristie and she infected me either!
Have you known the british queen confessed that the best Sherlock Holmes in movies was played by a russian actor!

The book has three episodes and The Hound Of The Baskervilles is the last story of the second episode. I think it is the most interesting and longest story in the series of Sherlock Holmes

I just finished The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes last night. Does anybody know more titles about the detective? His famous enemy, Moriarti, didn't appear on my book.

I loved The Hound of The Baskervilles. I even saw the movie and it was so good! I love the thrill of excitement whenever I read that story! And I think Dr. Watson is a really good character, a true friend to our beloved Sherlock and also a doctor :D lol I like him.

Well, I think he's sooo passive I still wonder what his role is in the story except that of the narrator.

And how come Sherlock is soooooo single!?

Does anybody think there's something going on between those two?

lol you're not suggesting our Sherlock's gay, are you? shame on you Dixie! Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would be appalled to hear that lol but speaking of Dr. Watson. Yeah, he is passive but I guess that's how he must be as it's Holmes who has to do all the job. ;)

Dr.Watson is a very loyal friend, he helped Holmes in many cases, maybe he isn't intelligent but he can enlighten Holmes and protect holmes with his best effort
And about watson's wife, she died, didn't she

I find the relationship between Holmes and Watson absolutely fascinating. If you read all the books (and, this time, you should!) in chronological order, you'll see how their acquaintance developed into a lasting friendship. The frienship between these two men is the other "story" Conan Doyle wrote about in all Sherlock Holmes' books. So I guess Watson is not that "passive" character...

Crima and punishment. that's what i'm reading right now. I though it's gonna be too difficult to read in English, but so far it's good
