Well..I am feeling a bit of nostalgia towards the past forms of communication :) There is something really romantic and beautiful about the old kind of letters. Perhaps..first is the effort made by the sender to make his handwriting legible :), second - the long way that the poor letter travels..and third - the tortured look it has when it's put in the post box, after suffering all the adventures. Well..and the anticipation related to all this...
So..what I wanted to ask..is whether there is someone who wants to write letters with me. But...someone..who has to bear in mind that I enjoy long talks, which appear to make sense, even if there is no evident result at the end. :) so...hm.. if you want leave me a message, and we'll make a deal then :)

I think you are talking about the book "the lycian way" that is writen by Kate Clow and so I did not read this book yet and do not know his route but for example(I am a musician...) last summer I has to been in Didyma for playing in party...but in day time I visited the temple of apollo with my friends. At that time I can not describe my feeling in front of this glory...And so I can give you guarantee for your pleasure about your decider....anyway I am living in İZMİR and I visited all historical place that is in here...

In fact I didn't know that there was a book...I am subscribed for a site..recommending trips and places worth visiting, and one of the editions was dedicated to Turkey - the 20 best places to visit in Turkey, 10 of them traditional and 10 - quite adventurous. The Lucian Way is a footpath long about 500km between Fethiye and Antalya. As i searched for more information I found out that Kate Clow has managed to find sponsors, so that the way could be marked, but I didn't know that she's written a book...Anyway, it seems to me absolutely fantastic, really challenging and I am ready to try it. Plus, Turkey is so near :)

Wow..
It seems the Time runs twisty way in some regions.
Judging by the duration of the breaks between certain posts, the time holes have probably taken place.
Will it be a surprise if a couple of years later we get the message from Desislava "I'm in the middle of the way. Please don't worry"?!

Hey Aybayraktar, if you mean that melancholic tomcat staring through the window glass, it'll hardly ever happen - he's a hopeless home-bird, believe me. He may leave his perch for a chat, but to undertake a journey hmm...no, I 've a doubt that's possible.AYBAYRAKTAR wrote:Hahhaa exactly ;)) by the way, there can be a new person planning to visit Turkey... As it has been said in an old movie "No, thanks. Better you come"

Great! So we have a hero. Yet we have to survive the end of the year - they say a doomsday is about to happen...symbolic wrote:I decided to walk that way for next summer, may be I can find her there :)

Re: penpals?
I have been a keyboard player in the circus orchestra for oh my god twenty eight years. Do you think I'm able to speak about music?:) However, I don't understand those musicians who say proudly: "I hate music!"
I don't hate music, I just don't listen to it. I don't go to rock/jazz/classic music concerts (to say true, I've never been on a rock concert at all).
What music and what instrument do you play, my symbolic friend?
