Post by LadyMacbeth »

well... I have to say TODAY that fter listening to this song for several time I changed my mind and now I think:
1. lyrics are 90% ok
2. melody is 75% ok
3. video is 60% ok
Hmmm...
ok. - new day -new ideas for songs. The Beatles are old idea...
Something latest, please.
Cheers.

I am writing about Dixie Chicks of course.
Of course in Poland I could never buy anything like their latest record (the most probably). How much would it cost sending one record from US? oh my God.
other videos of Dixie Chicks are even stranger than the one to "not ready to make nice".

Kelly Clarkson - video and lyrics:)

Post by LadyMacbeth »

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXnj2Uan ... ndependent

(Verse 1)
Miss independent
Miss self-sufficient
Miss keep your distance, mmmm

Miss unafraid
Miss out of my way
Miss don't let a man interfere, no

Miss on her own
Miss almost grown
Miss never let a man help her off her throne

So, by keeping her heart protected
She'll never, ever feel rejected
Little miss apprehensive
Said ooh, she fell in love

(Chorus)
What is this feeling taking over?
Thinking no one could open the door
Surprise, it's time, to feel what's real
What happened to miss independent's no longer need to be defensive?
Goodbye, old you, when love, is true

(Verse 2)
Misguided heart
Miss play it smart
Miss if you wanna use that line, you better not start, no

But she miscalculated
She didn't wanna end up jaded
And this miss decided not to miss out on true love

So, by changing a misconception
She went in a new direction
And found inside, she felt a connection
She fell in love

(Chorus)
What is this feeling taking over?
Thinking no one could open the door
Surprise, it's time, to feel what's real
What happened to miss independent's no longer need to be defensive?
Goodbye, old you, when love, is true (when love, is true)

(Bridge)
When miss independent walked away
No time for love that came her way
She looked in the mirror and thought today
What happened to miss no longer afraid?
It took some time for her to see
How beautiful love could truly be
No more talk of why can't that be me
I'm so glad I've finally seen

(Chorus)
What is this feeling taking over?
Thinking no one could open the door
Surprise, it's time, to feel what's real
What happened to miss independent's no longer need to be defensive?
Goodbye, old you, when love, is true (when love, is true)

Miss independent

Lately I've been enjoying the sounds of Omar sosa & Sufjan Stevens. I've also been dancing spastically to Architecture in Helsinki.

new Nelly Furtado

Post by LadyMacbeth »

Hi:)
Unfortunatelly I cannot find Black Eyed Peas "Mama" video at this moment:(
What I found is new Nelly Furtado. She used to be "like a bird" on her first records. Now she sounds like a really hell!!! She has grown up as we can see. Well... do you like her? I think I still like her :)

Enrique Iglesias

Post by LadyMacbeth »

Hello:)
here is a video for today - Enrique Iglesias. BE MY HERO!!! - many women would like to call but ,unfortunatelly, they call into total void:(((.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1TEZigC9 ... ias%20Hero
ps. Perhaps better choice would be Eros Ramazotti cause Italy is just playing with Ghana. Who is a winner by that time? I don't know:(. But I hope not Ghana. All in all Czech Republic has won US 3:0 and - here a surprise - Australia beat Japan 3:1. Now we are waiting for Iran:)

Anastacia

Post by LadyMacbeth »

Hi:)
Today I am putting Anastacia's song from last WorldCup.
I hope it will help Polish team to win with Germany today but truly speaking I think we will lose 3:1:(
PS. some people say 3:0 - but I claim we wil be able to shot one goal to Germans.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T22x6nv8 ... cia%20Boom
Next song will be either very happy or very sad:(((
Nice day - see my soon:)

Post by LadyMacbeth »

I don't know what to say today:(((. Better won yesterday. Look at the chart below:

Germans Polska
1 goals 0
8 shots 3
16 target-shots 5
21 fauls 17
10 various shots 4
6 "burnt"?!? 2
3 yelow cards 4
0 red kartki 1
58% keeping ball 42%

Well...Germans were better but they had few luck to shot a goal yesterday. At last they shot.
But match was very good. Both sides played as good as they could.
My congratulations to Spain who won 4:0 over Ukraine.
And now song for today.
However it won't be neither sad song nor funny song.It will be scary song:)

Oh I used to be a massive Placebo fan. I have all their albums. Actually they're not all gay, just Stefan, the drummer, is. Brian (the frontman) is bisexual and Steve is straight.

yeah, they are really different than any other rock band I guess. They remind me of "The Cure" sometimes though but I think Brian's voice is one of a kind so they actually cannot be compared to anyone at all...
